Campaign Issues
Experience matters. Being a Judge is difficult. At any given time, a Judge must listen for substantive information while ensuring that rules and processes are followed. The profession require not just familiarity with rules and statutes, some of which have been around for more than 100 years, it requires fluency. It is easy to tell voters that you will be fair and treat them with dignity. It is quite another thing to demonstrate the experience and skill necessary to bring that to life. The bench is not the place to learn the trade.
